At Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW), working together with other organisations supports us to do our job better.
We have formal agreements, called Memoranda of Understanding, with different groups like regulators, government bodies, and professional organisations. These agreements help us share information, avoid repeating work, and respond more quickly and in an informed manner when there are concerns. By working in partnership, we can better protect people using healthcare services and make sure care in Wales is safe and of good quality.
