Our public consultation is now closed, and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part.
We’ve heard from over 1,300 people across Wales – patients, carers, healthcare professionals and members of the public – each sharing valuable experiences and perspectives.
What’s next?
Your feedback will help us finalise a strategy that reflects what matters most to you and shapes how we inspect and regulate healthcare in Wales.
Several key themes have come through strongly in your responses – around access to services, quality of care, communication, inclusion, and the need for joined-up working across healthcare in Wales. We’ll be sharing these insights with our intelligence team and key stakeholders to ensure they inform our work.
We will also publish a summary of these key themes shortly, so you can see what we’ve heard and how it will influence our approach.
The final version of our Strategy for 2026–2030 will be published on 1 April 2026.
