Doing Well, Doing Better: Standards for Health Services in WalesOn 1 April 2010 the Welsh Assembly Government launched a revised set of standards for health services in Wales. The updated framework of standards, ‘Doing Well, Doing Better – Standards for Health Services in Wales’ set out the requirements of what is expected of all health services in all settings. The Standards provide a consistent framework that enables health services to look across the range of their services in an integrated way to ensure that all that they do is of the highest quality and that they are "doing the right thing, at the right time, for the right patient in the right place and with the right staff". The standards are underpinned by supporting guidance, which is available on the NHS Wales Governance e-Manual.
